With a deep love for football and a strong background in education, Jose dedicated his life to both playing and coaching the sport he is passionate about. Fluent in English and Spanish, Romero has had the privilege of serving as a Spanish Color Commentator and Analyst for the Arizona Cardinals from 2022 to 2024 and Spanish Color Commentator and Analyst for the University of Arizona Basketball 2025-Present.
His coaching career spans several years and includes significant roles at Desert Vista High School and Mountain Pointe High School, where he specialized as a Special Teams Coordinator as well as developing quarterbacks, receivers, and linebackers. Romero’s journey began as a standout student-athlete at the University of Arizona, where he was the starting long snapper for the Division 1 Wildcats.
